To address a very similar experience as in Kevin Bridgeman's one star review, as is clearly stated on Auctioneera's website and via repeated reminders by Fiona, the 15 day bidding period is not binding.

My partner and I placed the highest bid, and were jubilant when we won. The seller had been hoping for a bidding war, and wanted more or wouldn't sell. Fiona communicated this compassionately, patiently and kindly.

I do think the practice of having asking prices 40K under the real price you're willing to sell for is disingenuous on the part of the seller. Fiona was also shocked he wanted 40K more, it was news to her.

We agreed to the higher price despite reservations and frustrations, and went sale agreed. Another exciting day with hopes high. But the seller and his team ghosted us for three months, we and our own solicitor couldn't get a word out of them.

Throughout this frustrating and frankly shocking experience of being ghosted after bending over backwards for a seller, Fiona was a kind person.

I relate to what Kevin Bridgeman was going through in his one star review, but I feel that it was blaming the wrong party. The weatherman didn't make the rain.

My rating broken down is 5/5 solely for Fiona herself. She called me while on holidays just to talk it through with me when I decided to walk. She cares. I'd deal with her again wherever she works. I did not have a good experience with any part of the above other than her personal character. read less

Their set up is top class from agent, photographer, online platform, marketplace for fixed price Conveyancing and BER, follow up and customer care. I wouldn’t have gotten the same sale price using another company. The fixed fees can’t be argued with when you consider everything you get and the final result. They are the way forward for anyone selling property. read less
