Property News - November Edition
November saw some bitterly cold weather around the country but we kept warm at Auctioneera with lots of busy viewings and on-site valuations. Our customer support team too had a busy month organising and scheduling 280 viewings over the four weeks - this was up 15% on October’s viewing numbers so the figure shows people are anxious to get out and view. That’s great news for our vendors of course and with 818 offers placed on the website in November, it shows how increased interest at viewings translated into actual offers.
New listings on our site were also up in November by a substantial 48% indicating a lot of confidence coming to market by property owners. As we face into 2022, there’s no doubt that more vendors will choose to place their properties up for sale to take advantage of what is a buoyant market. We’re advising clients that if they’re considering selling in the short term that now is the time to get things in place in order to take advantage of that Christmas and new year rush.
Customer Support Team - Always Here to Help
Did you know that our customer support team is available to help you with your queries from Monday to Saturday whether it’s on live chat, telephone or via email! In the month of November, the team worked through 230 live chats and our response time is seconds. Handily, you can also register for updates on a particular property (many prospective buyers use this feature) and you can also register for a viewing on our site just by browsing to the listing you’re interested in.
Result of the Month
In terms of listings, we went live with 46 new properties in Cork, Dublin and Galway throughout November. We inform our database of buyers (in the thousands) the second we go live with a new property listing so there is a surge of activity which is great to see. November’s total sale agreed value was an amazing figure of €16,050,000 (that’s up over €2.5million on October’s numbers) and one of those included in that was 84 Clonkeen Road, Blackrock - the guide price there was €750,000 and it went sale agreed at €882,000 - that’s an astonishing €132,000 over the guide price!
